Early Type I Wilkinson Second Pattern F-S Fighting Knife & Scabbard

Price: $

Ref: 8091

A splendid example of an early Type I (all nickel) Wilkinson Second Pattern F-S Fighting Knife complete with scabbard.  Showing signs of general use and wear with a little plating loss in the area of the crossguard.  Full length blade at 6¾” with light sharpening marks and some age staining.  Both etching panels are strong and readable.  Fully intact pommel nut.  An overall ‘grey’ uncleaned and unpolished appearance, nice to find these in untouched original condition, a rarity today.
